Fri. Dec. 7, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

A teaching on the path of tantric Buddhism, with special emphasis on the Dudjom Tersar path. Rinpoche will talk about the role of the student, how to choose a teacher and the importance of lineage, as well as outlining the path of practice.

Sat. Dec. 8, 9:00am - 5:00pm

A comprehensive teaching on Shamatha and Vipasyana meditation. In the morning session, Rinpoche will explain how to do shamatha, or calm abiding meditation. The afternoon will be dedicated to the topic of vipasyana meditation. Rinpoche will give a comprehensive explanation of these two fundamental styles of meditation, as well as lead guided practice.

Sun.  Dec. 9, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Teaching and practice of the Lenchak Torma. This is a special practice for feeding the hungry ghosts. The Lenchak Torma is a practice that is frequently prescribed by the mirror divinations as a way to repay our karmic debts. Rinpoche will give the verbal transmission and instruction in the morning. The afternoon session will be dedicated to doing the practice, including the preparation of the materials.
