During the last weekend of March, Lama Dawa Rinpoche will bestow the sacred empowerments for the Three-Roots of the Dudjom Tersar: Yeshe Tsogyal, Vajrakilaya, and Lake-Born Guru Rinpoche. This very special event is essential for all serious practitioners of the Dudjom lineage. It has been several years since Rinpoche has offered these precious empowerments. For those students of Lama Dawa who have been working on their Ngondro and are getting ready to begin the nyenpa-drubpa practices of the Three Roots, these empowerments are a must! It will be a long time before he does these empowerments again!

Empowerment of the Lama Tsokye Dorje: Lake Born Padmasambhava

Note: These empowerments are intended for Lama Dawa Rinpoche's students who have completed Ngondro or are seriously working on Ngondro. They are necessary for entering the next level of practice, which is is the generation and completion (nyen-drub) stage retreats of the Dakini, Guru, and Yidam. Requirements for attending these teachings are that you have competed Ngondro or are seriously working on Ngondro (you have joined the Ngondro Support Group). There will be samayas. Students of other Lamas may attend these empowerments if they have completed the short Dudjom Ngondro.

The Vajra Armor Retreat Course is held at our residential retreat center at the Highlands Inn, a lovely bed and breakfast in the Catskill mountains of New York. These retreats are 'closed retreats', which means they are conducted within boundaries. Once the retreat begins, participants are not allowed to leave the building or area within the boudary, not allowed to have email or phone communications, and must abide by the rules of boundaried retreats. Cost

Room and meals: $340 for 4 nights and 13 organic meals. Suggested donation for Rinpoche is $250. In addition, there will be materials fees to cover the materials used for the retreat.

Registration is required!

Space is limited to 15 people, and will be given on a first-come first-serve basis. If the retreat is full, you will be placed on a waiting list.
